Tu cuerpo, tu territorio
This action was carried out within the framework of TERRITORI Ibiza Perfomance Art Festival, in September 2020; in which I was selected in the Balearic Open call. Tu cuerpo, tu territorio is an investigation into the spontaneous connection between sky-earth-sky in the process of painting outdoors on a large scale with natural colors and the role that we have as human beings and that our body has as a connection tool and its necessary transformation into a world in profound change. The colors are made from vegetables, fruits, plants and spices. The fact of providing the natural pigment colors refers to what we consume from the environment, the awareness that we have when choosing the foods that we introduce into our body; its color, its smell, its origin; they influence us internally and externally. The action takes into account the body movements on the canvas and the beginning of painting arises from the need to conquer that blank territory, our own terrain; which is at the same time our internal guide map.
